History:
In 1997, founder and CTO Neal R. Firth took his 20 years of experience as an internal tools expert and formed a consulting practice. Early contracts focused on source control and build automation - market areas with a large number of products and very few solutions.
As needs have changed, SageRight has transitioned to become a solution provider. Today, we provide the products and services that make our customers more productive.
Neal's early work was chronicled as part of the Pulitzer Prize winning "The Soul of a New Machine" by Tracy Kidder. It was at this time that he originated his tools philosophy: "tools must be reliable and straightforward to use". This philosophy is at the heart of our unique SageWay principals.
